The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975)
*TOP 10 ALERT*
While the crew-cuts were worried about shark attacks, all the kids who got 'swirlies' and 'wedgies' were sneaking off to see Rocky Horror in the middle of the night. For its time, this flick was really pushing the edges... now, depending on where you see it, the players may seem like the sane ones. This is a musical and audience participation film. As such, renting it on DVD doesn't count. Its like eating a chocolate and claiming you went to Switzerland. This picture MUST be seen in a theater WITH a supporting cast (those will be the people in fishnets and trenchcoats). If you do a little online legwork, you will know what to bring to the show to get the most out of the experience(hotdogs, red and blue playing cards, a newspaper section, water pistol, and so on). Don't expect to leave the same person you went in as. Give yourself over to absolute pleasure.
