Aliens wind up on earth and South Africa welcomes them into society... didn't these people see Alien Nation? Good Sci-Fi, but this movie may be its own worse enemy. They spend a lot of time on fluff and kind of breeze over the more complex notions. About half the movie is presented in an A&E style format with interviews and news footage 'after' the fact. The alien FX are the best to date. Careful viewing is required as a fair amount of information is given in a 'matter of fact/ common knowledge' sort of way. Try going into this one with as few preconceptions and as much of your attention as you can. Not for casual viewing.
