From Paris with Love (2010)
John Travolta has really seemed to hit his stride as a player. Since his rebirth in Pulp Fiction he has been a top shelf 'bad guy' in at least a dozen viable films. This time he steps in on our side as a rough and tumble ass kicking cowboy of a shadow ops special agent. This movie is like a roller coaster, in that it starts out gently tugging along being pulled up a steep incline. You may not be able to see all the turns, but the overall ride is fairly visible. Then its hang on and keep your mouth shut so you don't swallow anything unsavory. A very fast and violent ride, with a fairly high body count. No cheats. Good watch for fans of the genre. Points for obscure nod to Pulp Fiction.
