Snitch (2013)

After his son lands in prison The Rock has to become a snitch to keep him from doing 10 years. This is supposed to be 'based on true events' and all I have to say about that is, if accurate, our 'justice' system is more fucked up than I thought. The meat is a solid production value that keeps a brisk pace with enough tension to keep whats going to happen next a little foggy (it's not a real big surprise that things go the way they do). FX are good and while its not a terribly violent movie, the violence that does happen is convincing though not terribly graphic. I will say that of the 4 female characters in the film, 3 of them should be killed. That aside its a fairly enjoyable watch.
