Her family name makes her the pariah in a small religious country town, who have little idea how right their gossip is. Think Twilight but with witches instead of vampires. The supporting characters are colorful and there is a bevy of cool FX to appreciate. The female lead is still a Lego however, while the southern drawl of the male lead is forgotten here and there. I imagine this will appeal to a younger teen crowd (overly idealized notions of love, etc.), but over all its family friendly. The southern lifestyle is heavily stereotyped so you may find something to laugh at along the way.
