An American marine bent on avenging the death of his brother winds up in Indonesia (Java) hunting for an international bad ass. This is a pretty run of the mill action adventure movie featuring the rash young hot blood and the wise old veteran being compelled to team up to put an end to a rather haggard looking Mickey Rourke with possibly the worst French accent on the planet. Plenty of shit getting broken, some eye candy for the ladies, car chases with some of the lamest vehicles made, plenty of gunfire that never seems to hit anyone.. but like I said, about the norm for this kind of off the shelf offering. Its not painful but its not memorable either. I think the film crew got paid in travel vouchers.
